The Core Elements Water - Water Elementals are able to bend and manipulate any form of liquid to their will, which includes substances such as water, oil, and even blood. However, the ease of which an elemental can do so depends on several different factors; the more of the liquid in question there is, the more focus and energy it takes for a water elemental to be able to control it. Pure water is the easiest type of liquid to control, but the less pure water is in the liquid the elemental wants to control, the harder it is for them to get the liquid to do what they want. The thicker a liquid is, and the closer it is to becoming a solid, the harder it is for a water elemental to manipulate; if a liquid turns into a complete solid, such as ice, a water elemental can no-longer control it. Of course, water elementals face the obstacle that the further away a liquid is, the harder it is to reach out to it with their ability and control it.
- Water Elementals are able to breathe underwater longer than other Elementals. This is due to their being able to find air pockets while under the water, and being able to create currents to carry these bubbles to them. Their bodies also naturally reject water if they somehow are not conscious to do it themselves, recognizing the water as a threat to their life. Unfortunately, they can still drown just like any other Elemental; it just takes a longer amount of time for them to do so.
- Water Elementals can purify water by separating the pure water from whatever is mixed in with it. Using this ability, they can tell whenever water isn't pure; that being said, that does not give them the ability to recognize what, exactly, tainted the water in the first place. Water Elementals usually can’t do the same thing with other types of liquids.
- Water Elementals are usually natural swimmers. Even water elementals that have physical handicaps have found they are able to move about in the water with ease; this may be due in part to their bodies unconsciously using the minimal amount of energy to help them wade through the water.
- Water Elementals can sense when a body of liquid is nearby. Water elementals can go through sense training in order to strengthen this ability, which will improve their range in which they can sense liquid, and increase their focus, allowing them to sense even the tiniest drops of liquid. For some Water Elementals this sense is so normal and constant that they hardly notice it anymore, but others need to put more focus into using the ability.
- Water Elementals are able to keep themselves hydrated longer than other elementals. They retain water better, and whenever they do start to dehydrate, their bodies unconsciously start to suck in moisture from the environment, though if they are in dry areas, it doesn't do much to help. Since water elementals are able to regulate their hydration, they are also able to be acutely aware of when they are running low on hydration if they think to check it.
Fire - Fire Elementals are able to bend and manipulate any form of flame or fire to their will. The extent of which fire elementals can do so, however, is limited by certain aspects; like most elementals, the more of their element they try to control, the more fire elementals will struggle to control it. The more moisture that is in the air and in the nearby area, the harder it will be for elementals to light a flame and keep it alive. It is also significantly easier for a fire elemental to keep their flames going if they have some form of fuel for the fire, a lack of fuel meaning a much larger energy loss. Finally, when a fire elemental might want to put out a flame or fire, it might get more and more difficult depending on what started the fire and what kind of fuel it has.
- Fire elementals can endure high temperatures and levels of heat, not burning as easily as other elementals would. This does not mean that they are impossible to burn or can escape the negative effects that excessive heat can have on their bodies; severe burns, dehydration, and more are still very real risks for fire elementals.
- Fire Elementals have been found to have a higher normal temperature than other elementals; where the average normal temperature for other elementals would be around 98.6°F, the average normal temperature for a Fire Elemental would be around 103.0°F even. This allows them to stay warm during the winter without much issue and to withstand the summer heat better than others. When they get fevers, their temperatures can skyrocket to 110.0°F.
- Some Fire Elementals are able to sense the temperature of different things, be it inanimate objects, people, or even the area around them. The more powerful the Fire Elemental is, the more accurately they can pinpoint the exact temperature something is. Most Fire Elementals do this through physical contact, but the more they practice this ability, the more likely they will be able to sense temperatures just by being nearby.
- Fire Elementals technically have the ability to propel themselves through the air with blasts of fire from their hands and feet. This can be a very dangerous endeavor, however; even if the elemental in question has enough energy and power behind their blasts to keep airborne, without the proper knowledge of how propulsion and air movements work, any Fire Elemental that tries to send themselves flying could get seriously hurt.
- While Fire Elementals might be able to last longer in the cold than some other Elementals, if they are in the cold for too long, they will get extremely weak. Their body heat will start to drop just like anyone else's would in the cold, and since it would take a decent amount of their energy to keep themselves warm in such a situation, it wouldn't take long to drain them to the point of collapsing.
Stone - Stone Elementals are able to bend and manipulate any form of mineral to their will, which includes substances such as stone, soil, sand, dirt, crystal, and metal. The more minerals are in a substance, the easier it will be for a Stone Elemental to control it, meaning stones are usually the easiet to control while purified metals get harder and harder to control the less minerals they have within them. The more of their element there is, the harder it is to control as well. Things also get harder for the Stone Elemental if the object they are trying to manipulate has been changed in a significant way (such as getting wet, which causes it to get loose and runny, or something similar).
- Stone Elementals are able to cause earthquakes in the earth around them. The strength of the earthquake and the radius that it covers depends entirely on the skill and power of the Stone Elemental that is causing it; weaker Stone Elementals might not be able to pull this off, but the strongest Stone Elementals in recorded history have been known to destroy entire towns, sometimes by accident. Because of this, creating earthquakes is an ability that is usually forbidden to practice within heavily populated areas in order to lessen the risk of structures getting damaged or people getting hurt.
- Stone Elementals are sometimes able to bend and control lava to their will, as it is simply molten or semifluid rock. It is more difficult to control than more solid forms of minerals, as Stone Elementals usually aren't used to working with semi-fluid mediums, and Stone Elementals cannot make stone into lava by will, but the stronger Stone Elementals are able to control lava if it is readily available nearby.
- Stone Elementals are able to tell which types of stones and minerals are poisonous to get in contact with. It is believed that Poison Elementals got their poison-sensing abilities from Stone and Plant elementals, though the version of the ability that Stone Elementals have is not nearly as developed as that of a Poison Elemental's; they can only sense stone and mineral-based poisons, not poisons from other sources, and they can do nothing to remove the poison from the minerals involved.
Plant - Plant Elementals have the ability to manipulate all kinds of plants to their will. Unfortunately, this ability gets more difficult based on a few factors, one being the common limitation of most elementals: the more plants they try to control, the more strenuous it is on the Elemental, and the bigger the plants are that they try to control the harder it becomes. Plant Elementals will also require more energy to control a plant if it is a new or very uncommon hybrid. If the plant is withering and on the verge of death, Plant Elementals will have difficulty making it move the way they wish, though it won't particularly use too much more energy than it would to control a healthy version of the plant.
- Plant Elementals have the ability to progress and enhance the growth and development of a plant past its normal limitations. This is an ability that is, of course, much easier to pull off if the plant that the Plant Elemental is trying to control is in the proper environment with an abundant amount of the proper soil to draw nutrients from. Still, this is a power that takes a lot of energy out of the Plant Elemental and, when it comes to combat, is usually only used in emergency situations.
- Some of the more powerful Plant Elementals are able to take two or more seeds of different plants and create a cross hybrid that shares their traits. As one could imagine, making a completely new plant that has likely never existed before takes an extraordinary amount of energy that some Plant Elementals just won't have the ability or knowledge to do. What makes this technique even harder to pull off is that the plants in question have to be compatible with one another to mix; only a handful of Plant Elementals have been able to mix incompatible plants, taking up almost all of their energy at once. After developing the seed of the new plant, a Plant Elemental can then decide how it will grow and help it along.
- Plant Elementals are able to tell when a nearby plant is poisonous. This is an ability that many believe was passed on to Poison Elementals, but the ability isn't as fine-tuned for the Plant Elementals as it is for Poison Elementals. While they can tell if a plant is poisonous, they can't necessarily tell how to counteract said poison, nor can they do anything to get rid of a plant's natural poison if the plant is already developed and at its 'adult' stage. Only the strongest Plant Elementals can tell when a poison comes has a plant origin, but cannot tell the same for stone-based or animal-based poisons.
- Plant Elementals are able to force plants to absorb carbon dioxide faster than normal to produce more oxygen. While this isn't normally an essential power, or even one that most Plant Elementals will think of, it can be used in emergency situations where oxygen is low and desperately needed. It takes around the same amount of energy as making a plant grow faster than usual does, if not even a little less.
Air - Air Elementals have the ability to manipulate most kinds of gasses to their will, oxygen and nitrogen being the easiest to control. As it is with most Elementals, the more of their medium that Air Elementals attempt to control and bend, the harder it will be for them to do so properly, and trying to move too much will break their control. Air pressure can also have an effect on how easy or difficult it is for an Air Elemental to manipulate gases.
- Air Elementals are able to hold their breath for far longer periods of time than any other Elemental. Their bodies instinctively ensure that they get enough oxygen and, in emergency situations where oxygen is limited or practically nonexistent, will automatically work to conserve as much oxygen as possible. While this is an unconscious ability for most Air Elementals, it will take a decent amount of energy out of an Air Elemental if strained. Air Elementals can actually work to hone this ability and make it stronger if they wish, but training it can be a harder concept to grasp than other abilities they are able to practice.
- Air Elementals can create certain sounds by manipulating the vibrations of air molecules. This is where the main ability of Sound Elementals are thought to be inherited from, but unlike Sound Elementals, Air Elementals cannot make any noise that they want. Air Elementals are limited to creating a very small amount of noises, and to even be able to recreate a couple of noises perfectly, without fail, will take a great amount of practice and focus. As this is an ability that most Air Elementals have no use for, seeing one use it perfectly is rare.
- Most Air Elementals are able to fly, or at least hover above the ground, with their abilities. Of course, it takes practice for an Air Elemental to fly without issue or risk; they have to learn how to maneuver, what their limits are, how to expand them, and other dangers that may pose a threat to them such as storms, aerial monsters, and more. The more they practice, the higher and longer that they will be able to fly.
- The strongest Air Elementals can affect the weather with their powers. The strongest Air Elementals in recorded history, usually aristocrats, were able to create entire tornados that wreaked havoc upon those that stood in the storm's path, while others were able to redirect entire storms and move them into different areas. As accidentally making such a powerful storm could have devastating effects on towns and cities, Air Elementals are not allowed to practice within city or town limits. Most are only allowed to practice this ability officially in a training base.

- Lightning Elementals are able to create, charge, and manipulate different forms of plasma, and electricity, to their will. The most common form of plasma that most Lightning Elementals can use is lightning and electricity, but other forms include making neon lights and even aurorae. The more electricity or plasma they try to control, or the more powerful they attempt to make the electricity or form of plasma they are controlling, the more energy will be taken out of the Lightning Elemental's reserve. For lightning and electricity, Lightning Ele,entals must also be careful of metals and areas nearby that might draw their element away from them.
- Lightning Elementals are able to absorb electricity and recharge from it, but they have to be careful about doing so. They can still get overloaded with electricity, and it has been known for a Lightning Elemental to still get electrocuted when their bodies could no longer absorb any electricity. The closer a Lightning Elemental is to overloading with electricity, the more static shocks they will produce outside their bodies; the shocks will get increasingly more powerful the more electricity they have.
- Lightning Elementals are able to charge and power electronics by giving them their own electricity. However, they have to be careful not to put too much electricity into the device they are trying to power or charge, as they can end up damaging the electronic beyond repair.
- The strongest Lightning Elementals are capable of inflicting great pain upon others by using the electricity found in the bodies of those around them. Electricity is needed for the human body to operate, the nervous system using signals throughout one's body with electricity being its main source of power. Incredibly strong Lightning Elementals have been able to use the electricity stored in each person's body and seriously harm its owner; they can stop signals from traveling through the nervous system this way, or they can cause the electricity to overflow and send the nervous system into excruciating amounts of agony.

- Ice Elementals are able to control and manipulate any form of ice, frost, snow, and other types of frozen or partially frozen water and liquid. They are also able to produce their own ice and snow by freezing the condensation in the air and finding moisture from other sources to freeze. The more snow or ice that they attempt to manipulate the more energy they will end up using. They will use even more energy if they attempt to create larger amounts of snow or ice. The easiest frozen forms they can manipulate are those that are completely made of water; other types of liquids, such as oil or blood, are harder to control when frozen or partially frozen.
- Ice Elementals have bodies that are capable of enduring much colder temperatures than other Elementals are able to. However, like Fire Elementals are not immune to burns, Ice Elementals cannot avoid frostbite or other side-effects caused by one's body being in extremely cold environments. Whereas most Elementals would start to get frostbite if the temperature fell below 32°F, Ice Elementals can usually withstand temperatures around 5°F before the cold would finally start to have adverse effects on their bodies.
- Most Elementals have a regular body temperature of 98.6°F, give or take a little, but Ice Elementals have a lower normal body temperature of around 94°F, sometimes less. As their bodies are built to endure the cold, this, of course, does not have any negative effects for them.
- Ice Elementals tend to overheat in hot and dry areas more quickly than other Elementals would. If their body temperature starts to rise to an unhealthy degree, it will take them a decent amount of energy to keep their bodies cool over a long period of time; if this continues without some kind of reprieve for the Ice Elemental, they will eventually be drained of all energy.
- Like Fire Elementals, Ice Elementals are capable of sensing the temperature of certain things and of people. The more powerful the Ice Elemental in question is, the more accurately they will be able to pinpoint the exact temperature of what they are examining. Most Ice Elementals with this ability find the easiest way to do this is through physical contact, but with enough practice, Ice Elementals could do this just by focusing.

- Poison Elementals have the ability to create poisons and toxins at will in various different forms, be it through bodily functions or some other form. The more deadly the poison or toxin they try to produce, or the more they try to create at a time, the more energy will be taken out of them, especially if it is a rare or completely new toxin that isn't normally found in nature. Each Poison Elemental has their very own unique poison they can create amongst the other types that every Poison Elemental can learn to develop; this poison can be hard for even other Poison Elementals to study and figure out cures or antidotes for.
- Poison Elementals are able to sense when something is poisonous, toxic, or venomous. They are better able to sense poisons that are plant or stone-based, but can still sense poisons with different origins. While this is a latent ability, a Poison Elemental can train and practice in order to seek out and pinpoint even the smallest traces of poisons. The more poison there is to sense, the easier it will be on the Poison Elemental, but when the traces are faint, it can take more energy to notice.
- Poison Elementals are able to tell what makes up a poison, venom, or toxin, and what symptoms and effects they might cause in different scenarios. While more simple poisons are easier for Poison Elementals to study, it will take much more energy - and sometimes even research - to properly identify more elaborate poisons with one-hundred-percent accuracy. If the poison or toxin is another Poison Elemental's unique poison, it can be nearly impossible to identify, but not necessarily unheard of.
- People often hold the idea that Poison Elementals can only create deadly substances with their powers, but they would be mistaken. Poison Elementals can also produce substances that could have medicinal use, though it is harder to do for them than creating regular poisons. The reason is simple; most medicine can absolutely damage the human body if overtaken, so it would still count as a poison.
Sound - Sound Elementals are able to produce, manipulate, and change sounds. When producing a sound on their own, the volume and type of noise they wish to make will determine how much energy they use; the louder and more unnatural the noise, the more energy it will take to produce it. If the sound they are attempting to manipulate is not their own, changing the noise's sound and volume will also take energy.
- Just as Sound Elementals are able to produce and manipulate sound to produce whatever noise at whatever volume they wish, they can just as easily silence most noises. Like producing and changing sound, the more sound they try to silence and the longer they try to do so, the more energy it will take.
- Sound Elementals are capable of mimicking noises almost perfectly; the only setback is that they have to have heard the sound they are trying to mimic before. The longer they have been able to study and listen to the sound they are attempting to copy, the more accurate they will be. They can copy anything from animal cries, the sounds of nature, and even someone's voice. The more unusual the sound is, the harder it becomes for the Elemental.
- Sound Elementals' hearing is naturally stronger and more refined than the hearing of other Elementals. This stronger sense of hearing allows them to pick up on the faintest of noises that any other type of Elemental would miss entirely. This is an ability that has proven to be very useful for Sound Elementals on stealth missions during battles, or in rescue situations where they search for Elementals or animals that cannot call out for help they may desperately need.
- Sound Elementals' hearing is not only stronger in the sense of being able to pick up the quietest sounds, but also in the sense that it takes a higher level of sound to damage their hearing and equilibrium. Most Elementals will start to get permanent hearing damage after two hours of hearing something at 80-85 decibels and almost immediately at 110 decibels, but Sound Elementals can handle around 220 decibels before starting to permanently lose their hearing.

- Light Elementals are capable of locating and bending or manipulating already-existing forms of light to their will. The light can come from any nearby source, such as sunlight blanketing the world in its warm glow, light from flashlights, and even the soft, temporary glow of fireflies. Light Elementals are also able to produce and control their own source of light, though this is harder to accomplish than simply manipulating pre-existing light, and as soon as their energy runs out, any light they had produced will vanish. The more light they try to control or make, the more they try to dim or brighten the light they are controlling, the more energy will be taken out of them.
- Light Elementals tend to be at their liveliest and healthiest during the day, as being out in the daytime will provide them with more light to draw energy from. Unfortunately, when night falls and the sun vanishes, Light Elementals get weaker and have less light to draw energy and power from.
- Light Elementals are able to fade into paths of light and travel wherever the light touches. The longer they remain faded in the light and the faster they attempt to go while traveling, the more energy will be used. As this is an ability that quickly drains its user, and since Light Elementals are limited by the fact they can only go where the light touches, it is usually only used in emergencies.
- Light Elementals are able to solidify the light that they manipulate, though this takes a significantly larger amount of energy to do than simply controlling non-physical forms of light. Only stronger Light Elementals tend to have enough energy to do this for long periods of time, and because of the energy drain this ability causes, most Light Elementals don't tend to use it outside of battle. If their solid light touches something living, it tends to cause burns like sunburns; the longer it remains in contact, the worse the burns will become.

- Darkness elementals are able to control and bend already existing forms of darkness or shadow that are around them, which includes shadows that objects cast in the light, to the pitch blackness of a starless sky on the night of a new moon. They can move shadows from where they are cast, stretch them, and reshape them to their will. Unfortunately, the brighter it is where they are, the harder it becomes to have proper control over the darkness. Like most elementals, the more they try to control their element, the harder it becomes for darkness elementals to control it properly.
- Being in bright spaces does not only limit darkness elementals' available shadows to control, but it may also negatively affect their health. Unfortunately, some darkness elementals get weaker physically in the sun and in bright light, some even getting sunburnt far more easily than others would. Most Darkness Elementals thrive in areas where it is shady or dark, and the night time is when they are usually at their liveliest and strongest.
- Some of the more powerful darkness elementals are able to fade into shadows and travel through the dark paths that are cast nearby. If the shadows or darkness that they are using to travel ends and does not connect to another shadow, they will be forced to step from those shadows to move forward. This ability takes a lot of energy, and the faster they try to travel, even more energy will need to be used, so this is usually only used as a last resort or in times of an emergency.
- The stronger Darkness Elementals can solidify and use darkness and shadow. This takes a significantly bigger amount of energy to do than simply manipulating shadows as they are, which is why only the stronger Darkness Elementals are able to withstand the drain that this ability causes for its users. Most Darkness Elementals might not use this ability outside of battle or work.

- Creation Elementals have the ability to create things out of thin air using only their energy. To do so, they must have some level of understanding of what they wish to create and how it works, having enough information to be able to picture it clearly in their minds. The more they try to create, and the more intricate what they make is, the more energy will be drained out of them. If the thing they are trying to create hasn't been created before, and is more of a brand new idea they thought of themselves, it will take even more energy to give it a solid, sure shape.
- Some Creation Elementals are able to sense what certain objects and materials are made out of. This is an ability most Creation Elementals will have at birth, but at its base form will only allow its users to be able to identify the simplest materials they are familiar with that are in an object. To be able to automatically recognize more, Creation Elementals usually need to train and study.
- Some of the strongest Creation Elementals are able to create things that require living cells, such as body parts. In order to do so, however, they have to have at least a basic understanding of how cells work, and in turn, how the body part they are trying to create out of the cells works. They also must have a sample of cells from the person they are trying to create the body part for, otherwise, it will not be a match. This ability takes a great deal of energy out of Creation Elementals, often leaving them exhausted for days or even weeks, so it isn't something they do often.

- Chaos Elementals have the devastating ability to erase things from existence simply by using their energy, with the things that are erased with this ability disintegrating into nothing from the points that the power reaches. The target must be within the Chaos Elemental's range, and while making physical contact with what they want to destroy makes it easier for the Chaos Elemental, they can also do it from a distance with no physical contact. The more that a Chaos Elemental attempts to destroy, and the more matter there is inside their target, the more energy it will take to destroy them. Living things are much harder to destroy than inanimate objects, so usually only the stronger Chaos Elementals are able to destroy them.
- Chaos Elementals have the ability to sense when destruction of something is going on nearby. Chaos Elementals that do not practice this ability will not be able to sense the smaller forms of destruction, only larger forms - for example, buildings being demolished, or bridges being destroyed. Those that are experienced with using this power and are actively using it will sense smaller forms of destruction like car wrecks or damaged property.

- Life Elementals are able to use their energy to heal themselves and others. There are different types of healing that Life Elementals usually specialize in; some specialize in physical injuries like cut skin or broken bones, while others will specialize in illnesses, though being able to do both - and more - is entirely possible and not at all uncommon. Unfortunately, they can't cure everything, especially if they don't have a general understanding of what the disease or illness is and how it works. Life Elementals will find that other Elementals are the easiest beings for them to heal, but animals and plants are typically harder to heal. The only type of Elemental they have any real difficulty healing are Death Elementals, being their exact opposites. The more they try to heal something, the more energy will be taken out of them.
- Life Elementals are able to sense when someone is sick, or when they are healthy. While it is an ability they must train and practice to perfect, they are usually able to tell when someone's health is off, especially if they know the person in question well and personally.
- Life Elementals are some of the few Elementals that are able to sense each other when they are nearby. Superstitious Elementals claim that, as Elementals that are capable of sensing when someone is sick or when someone is at their healthiest, they would be able to sense such strong sources of healing and life from other Life Elementals.
Death Death Elementals are one of, if not most, hated group of Elementals in existence. As far back as recorded history reaches, Death Elementals have been feared and misunderstood because of their ability to cause death, which has lead to a hatred that has survived several millennia. Surviving alongside the hatred for Death Elementals are negative rumors that only make the fear and hostility towards this group worse; some believe that Death Elementals are cursed or are a curse, while others believe they are meant to be a punishment to their parents or ancestors that have committed great sins. The majority of people see Death Elementals as a group of people that shouldn't exist and will treat them according to their intense loathing of them. It is not at all uncommon for Death Elementals to be targetted in hate crimes, which often result in the Death Elemental taking the blame for their own attack if they managed to survive the ordeal. It's even common for Death Elementals to be murdered while they are still little by family members who learn the truth and want to avoid a scandal by getting rid of what they think is a monster before it causes trouble. Those that make it usually wear masks in public; it has the unfortunate effect of letting everyone know that they are, indeed, a Death Elemental, but it lessens the chance of someone getting to know their real identity and being able to track them down should the Death Elemental decide to take the mask off to escape a certain situation.
- All Death Elementals have the terrifying capability to drain the life out of any type of living being. When they pull the life out of something, the target does not initially feel any pain or agony; instead, if the target does not struggle, or doesn't know what is happening, they will simply get overwhelmingly tired and numb, almost like suddenly falling asleep. If the target does struggle, their body and souls will start to ache, and they will start to get disoriented from fighting against the unseen force of death. The more beings a Death Elemental tries to kill, and the more powerful and lively the beings in question are, the harder it will become to kill them. If the being is intelligent enough to sense what is happening and is capable of fighting the sensation it drains the Death Elemental's energy further. Life Elementals have been found to be harder for Death Elementals to kill, perhaps because they are the exact opposite of Death Elementals. The being they wish to kill must be within range for them to do so, otherwise, they will not be able to drain the life out of others. The one and only being that Death Elementals absolutely cannot kill with their power are other Death Elementals; if a Death Elemental attempts to drain the life out of another, the target Death Elemental would only feel a weird tugging sensation.
- Death Elementals have the ability to sense when something is in the process of dying or has already passed if they are nearby. This is a subconscious ability that takes no energy to use at its base form, but if a Death Elemental so wishes, they can train and hone the ability to be able to broaden the range of this ability.
- Death Elementals are one of the few types of Elementals that are capable of sensing each other when they are nearby. No-one is quite certain why this is; some superstitious Elementals believe that death hangs over Death Elementals like a cloak, and since they are able to sense death itself, it is only natural they would sense it draped over someone like them. Others believe that since the main power of Death Elementals is to kill, it only makes sense that death-sensing beings could sense that one, horrifying power from each other.
- Stronger Death Elementals have the ability to slow down or increase the decomposition of the deceased. This is a rare ability to see from Death Elementals, partially because it is usually difficult to perform, but also because half of the Death Elemental population never make it to Casa Segura da Morte, where experienced Death Elementals could tell them of this ability that they otherwise would not think to test out on their own.
- A very rare ability for Death Elementals is the ability to see, hear, and speak to the spirits of the dead. This ability isn't something that only the stronger Death Elementals can use; it's simply something that only a select few of the already rare Death Elementals can do. The ability itself is limited in how it works for the few that can use it; sometimes, Death Elementals can't do all three, with some only being able to hear the dead but not see them, or vice-versa. All of them face the same limitation that they can only really communicate with spirits that have some form of importance to them; spirits that knew them while they were alive are usually the ones they see, but sometimes ancestors they never met before can appear to these rare Death Elementals as well.

- All Time Elementals have the ability to see into the past and future. The more powerful the Time Elemental is, and the more practice they have with looking into the past and future, the more clear the visions they receive will be. The further back or forward in time that Time Elementals attempt to peer into, the more energy will be drained out of them. This ability can sometimes happen at random, especially for young Time Elementals that haven't had the chance to practice their ability.
- Some of the stronger Time Elementals are able to slow down or speed up time for themselves, and sometimes for the area around them. The slower or faster they attempt to make time flow, the more of their energy will be consumed. The more people and objects they attempt to slow or speed up time for other than themselves will also result in more energy being taken out of them. Because of the energy use, this isn't an ability that Time Elementals use very often.
- Time Elementals are able to tell what time of the day it is, and are able to keep track of time if they are paying attention and wish to. While they aren't always one-hundred-percent accurate down to the nanosecond, their judgments of time are usually close to perfect.
- A rare ability that only the strongest of Time Elementals are able to perform is the ability to go back in time. Most Time Elementals with this ability and the energy to pull it off only have enough power to go back in time a few moments, with the max being a day or two. Unfortunately, energy is not the only source this power draws on; using this ability will also shorten the lifespan of the Time Elemental that uses it, so most with this ability will never use it or even attempt to try it.

Other Discovered Powers Psychic Abilities Psychics have been considered a very powerful and unpredictable group, much like Creation Elementals, due to the sheer amount of powers they could end up having. The two things that all Psychics seem to have in common is that distance is a heavy drain on their abilities, and, if their power involves looking into the mind of someone who is unwilling, it becomes that much more difficult to do. Psychics are also limited to only one ability.
- Some Psychic have the ability Telekinesis. This, in short, can be described as the ability to move and manipulate things with their mind. The larger or heavier an object is, and the more a Psychic wants to manipulate the object, the harder it is for the Psychic to control. The amount of time they use their Telekinesis also has an effect on how much energy is used up. Whenever Psychics born with this power start to show signs of it when they are young, it can actually be some time before the people around them notice. Some will find that things they put in a certain area have moved to another area nearby, or they hear something drop nearby but do not know how said object fell in the first place. Some Psychics even use Telekinesis in ways that would lead people to believe they have a core element, like moving water out of a tub, or making the flame of a nearby candle flicker. It isn't until much later, when they can further develop and hone their abilities, that their friends and family may find out what they really are.
- Some Psychics have the ability Telepathy, and even this ability kind of has its own two subclasses, which are Telepathic Communication and Telepathic Perception. The Telepathic Communication half of this power is to project one's thoughts into the mind of another, while Telepathic Perception is the ability to receive thoughts from the mind of another. These abilities get harder to use whenever the person whose mind they are trying to gain access to does not want anyone to do so. Some who have gone through mental training to put up guards, to keep mind readers out of their heads, are especially draining to try and use this power on. If there is a large distance between the Psychic and the person they are trying to use their powers on, this also increases the difficulty.
- Some Psychics have the ability Empathy. This is the ability to project one's feelings onto someone else, to have them feel what the Psychic is feeling, as well as the ability to read and feel the emotions of those around them. When this ability starts to surface when they are young, those around them that are affected by this ability may simply write it off as having mood swings. Since the user is young, these mood projections are usually not that negative, and when they are, they don't commonly have deadly endings. Older Psychics with full control over this ability can leave people with such powerful emotions that it can drive them to perform acts they wouldn't have done before. These Psychics can do good deeds, however, by helping people heal from the effects of emotional trauma. Some Psychics with this ability are so powerful that they can feel the physical pain of others, and, in turn, project their own pain to others.
- Some Psychics have the ability Mental Manipulation. Like Telekinesis, there are several different subclasses that could go to Mental Manipulation, but unlike the previously mentioned class, these sublasses often have interlining abilities, so they are difficult to give separate titles. Some Mental Manipulators are able to manipulate the memories of others; they can see their memories, change their memories, share their memories with others, and even completely erase their memories, giving them amnesia. Unless the Psychic is extremely powerful, these changes and erases could be reversed and put back to normal given the proper circumstances. Other Mental Manipulators are able to place others completely under their control, but there are several instances that make this task difficult to perform; this includes how strongly the person objects to the control, how strongly they object to what they are being controlled to do, how strong they are mentally to begin with, if they had mental defenses up beforehand, and how long the control goes on for.
- Some Psychics have the ability Dream Manipulation. This ability is similar to Mental Manipulation in the sense that the Psychic using this ability can see what is going on inside another person's head and change it to their will. It is different, however, because it deals solely with their dreams, rather than their memories. They can turn sweet dreams into nightmares, and the other way around. If powerful enough, they can make the person they are using this ability on get injured in their dreams, and still feel the pain of the injury when they wake up, even though they don't actually have said injury.
- Some Psychics have the ability Clairsentience. When someone cherishes an object, they can inadvertently leave behind strong emotional charge. Psychics with the ability of Clairsentience are able to see the histories of such objects during the times they were so cherished through physical contact. This is, unfortunately, all they can do; they cannot see the history of the object during a time it wasn't cherished, and cannot see the history of an object with no emotional connection whatsoever.
Animal Communication Animal Communicators, like their title suggests, are able to communicate with and understand creatures of other species. Some of the more powerful Animal Communicators have even been known to talk to monsters! Animal Communicators usually start showing signs of their powers even before other Elementals, though unless they know the exact signs to look for, the people around them will not notice. Animal Communicators, as soon as they are old enough to actually understand and be able to communicate in some way, are able to speak to animals. This usually involves making very specific noises or body movements that they learn from the animal, or just perform by instinct. Animals that are around Animal Communicators seem to become much more relaxed and at ease, as if they know that the Communicator is not a predator, sometimes even treating them like their own kind. Other than being able to understand and speak to animals, and for the more powerful ones, being able to put animals at ease, Animal Communicators don't seem to have any other abilities.
- Animal Communicators have the unique ability to speak to almost any form of intelligent life, either through their body language, actions, or words. It is usually easier, and almost second-nature, for Animal Communicators to speak to creatures that they grew up around, or are familiar with, but it becomes more difficult for the Animal Communicator if they have never encountered or seen the creature they are attempting to speak to. The level of intelligence of the being they are speaking to is also a factor of how easy it is to communicate with them.
- Most Animal Communcators, just as they are able to speak to most creatures, are able to understand them as well. The ways in which they can understand creatures differ just the same way as the way they are able to speak to them do; they might be able to understand a creature's body language perfectly, and, depending on how intelligent the creature is, may be able to understand their noises as speech, though most say that it isn't as fluent as any Elemental language.
- Animal Communicators usually have the natural ability to make animals feel at ease around them. The power itself isn't entirely a conscious act on their part; it is an ability that goes into effect at birth that doesn't take any energy at its base form. It can, however, be trained and honed in order to try and ease creatures that might be otherwise hostile and feral. [/li

The Powerless The Powerless, as you can imagine, are human beings that were born with absolutely no powers or extra abilities. It is extremely rare for Powerless beings to be born, even more rare than the chance of an Anomaly being born, and so there aren't very many in the world. Because there are so few, and because of the fact this rarely happens, Powerless people face many difficulties in life. They are unable to get jobs that require someone to have certain elements, and have difficulty getting by in a world where having an element is nearly essential to being able to survive. In the past, Powerless were seen as a sign of weakness, incompetence, or inferiority; some even believed that having a Powerless child meant that their parents had committed great sins in their lives, and to keep from becoming like them, their power was completely removed before they were ever born. They were even on par with Death Elementals when it came to how poorly they were treated in the past. Even as time has gone by, with these myths having been proven wrong long ago, some people who follow old traditions do tend to treat Powerless with prejudice, as if they are simply pests.
Something the world isn't quite aware of is the fact that not all Powerless are deemed Powerless at first. Recently, with high tensions and the rise of more Death Elementals venturing into society, many people start to get suspicious that those who are Powerless are really Death or Chaos Elementals who are simply hiding their status in order to blend in. When this happens, it isn't uncommon for Powerless people to be attacked or called out for being something they really aren't. These attacks not only ruin the Powerless's image in the eyes of society, but could also end fatally, with the Powerless losing their lives. Powerless are also sometimes mistaken for Psychic Users and Animal Communicators, which usually ends more peacefully whenever the truth is revealed.
There are a few organizations throughout the world that are striving to try and better understand Powerless members of society, to spread the information to the rest of the world, in order to clear up these mishaps. These organizations are small and have little funds, however, so studies on and help given to Powerless people are few and far between. The best they are able to do at this time is confirm if someone is Powerless or not, and then try to find them a job near where they live so that they are able to support themselves.
